Dates for your 2020 Diary
There is always ‘something to look forward to’ when your child is at primary school. It can be hard keeping track of everything, especially if you have more than one child, so we have collated some key dates for you. Below are several key dates for your 2020 diary. You can download them as a pdf.
Pre-School
OFFER DAY: 15TH MAY 2020
If your child was born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016, you will be allocated a school place on this day. More information about choosing a school and applying for a place.
Year 1
PHONICS SCREENING CHECK
These will be carried out during the week commencing 8th June 2020. More information about the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check.
Year 2
KEY STAGE 1 SATS

Maths and English tests will be carried out during the month of May 2020. Most schools prefer not to give a precise date, to avoid pressurising the children. More information about Key Stage 1 SATs.
Year 4
MULTIPLICATION TABLES CHECK
These times table tests will be compulsory for all schools from 2020 and will take place during the three week period from 8th June. Many schools prefer not to give a precise date, to avoid pressurising the children. More information about the Multiplication Tables Check.
YEAR 5
ENTRANCE EXAMS
