December 15th: Verbal Reasoning – Find the Hidden Word

It’s day 15 of Better Tuition’s advent calendar and we have a fun verbal reasoning activity for you.  Can you find the four-letter word hidden across two words? This skill is useful for trainee sleuths, spies and students preparing for GL-style grammar school entrance exams/ 11 plus.

Find the Hidden Words

Instructions:
In each sentence, find the four-letter word hidden across two words. Underline the two words and write the hidden word at the end of each line.
