Santa loves our Better Tuition advent calendar so much he has created a fun Verbal Reasoning challenge for all those year five students who are busily preparing for Trafford’s Entrance Exams and for anyone who enjoys a good logic puzzle.

Each Christmas Eve, Santa is busy ironing his robes for the night to come. Santa’s elves must prepare the reindeer for their trip around the world.  Santa is very particular about the order of his reindeer and has left these instructions for the elves.  Can you help them by writing down the correct order?

Here are Santa’s instructions:

Comet behind Rudolph, Prancer and Cupid.

Blitzen behind Cupid and in front of Donder, Vixen and Dancer. Cupid in front of Comet, Blitzen and Vixen.

Donder behind Vixen, Dasher and Prancer. Rudolph behind Prancer and in front of Donder, Dancer and Dasher.

Vixen in front of Dancer and Comet.

Dancer behind Donder, Rudolph and Blitzen.

Prancer in front of Cupid, Donder and Blitzen.

Dasher behind Prancer and in front of Vixen, Dancer and Blitzen.

Donder behind Comet and Cupid.

Cupid in front of Rudolph and Dancer.

Vixen behind Rudolph, Prancer and Dasher.
